VISTA and IE7 alleged patent violations Microsoft accused to court

Located in Texas, responsible for the development of emerging companies in digital media technology, Texas Eastern District Court sued Microsoft and Adobe, claim 2 for browser element display technologies patent violations, infringing products include Microsoft’s VISTA system.
This company has called Aloft Media “Network Browser Graphical User Interface for Managing Web Content” (Internet Explorer content management graphical user interface) and “the Network Browser Window with Adjacent Identifier Selector” (a Web browser near identifier selector window) Technology patents, United States patent number and 7,117,443, respectively. Two technologies are displayed in the browser URL address of the GUI (graphical user interface).

Aloft Media company accused of Microsoft’s IE 7 browser and VISTA systems, as well as Adobe’s Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Professional and Acrobat 3D is a violation of the patent. Under United States Patent and Trademark Office revealed that the company’s applications for 2 patents was proposed in October 2003, on October 3, 2006 and March 20, 2007, was approved. Aloft Media companies require the jury to hear the case, and sought to ban 2 companies of infringing products sales, compensation for losses and bear lawyer fees.

Adobe about this company through the public relations department said, would not comment without judgment proceedings. According to Microsoft, has not received a summons and therefore no comment.
