Machine manufacturers wishing to abandon Intel Atom, but to the AMD platform

According to PC industry analyst, since Intel Atom NetBook platform to meet the 20-inch and above level-one for the part display performance requirements , AMD’s platform is likely to win-one manufacturer’s favor . Despite some-one vendor final in the 20-inch and above grade products are used in the Intel Atom NetBook platform, but the platform display performance and price/performance disadvantage is likely to lead to more manufacturers select backward AMD camp .

Grades however the sources think 19 inch and below-one market still ruled by Intel Atom platform on.

Now companies announced in their machine products using AMD’s platform products, includes Acer/Gateway ZX2301 (18.5 inch screen Athlon 2650e processors), BenQ nScreen i91, micro-AE2010 (20 inch screen, Athlon 2650e processors) and HP TouchSmart IQ780tw (19 inches screen, Turion 64 X2 TL-58 processor).
