Nice sub-notebook, with or without WiMax

I am glad to have this unit. This is the third netbook I have owned, and the first one whose manufacturer did everything well. I find the rocker switch easier to use, the fit and finish to be first class, and the design to be well thought out. Unlike other units, the NC-!0 actually came with restore CDs – kudos to Samsung on that. The included backup software is nice. And yes, the SD slot really is there, it is just hidden a little too well (under the right front edge – covered by a plastic filler).

I found the WiMax to be slightly more sensitive than Motorola’s USB WiMax device. My only complaint is that you can’t use the built-in WiFi and the WiMax at the same time. Also, I wish the built-in WiFi was N, not G. But I use an external USB N with it and that works fine, when I need N.

Overall, it is now my favorite netbook.
